YOUR ROLE  |

- As a Sify i way franchisee, you will be responsible for creating the i
way within the allotted period in line with Sify specifications and in
tandem with all agencies involved.
- You should also maintain customer/ sponsor relationships and function
as an ambassador of Sify. In sum, you are the custodian of the brand i
way.
- You have to invest in setting up the i way by investing in fixed assets in the location(which would include the place,the interiors,furniture's,PC's etc..)
- Place (own/rented - a minimum of 200 sqft)
- Hardware (computers- as will be specified)
- Software (Licensed operating systems and office application suite)
- Interiors (Painting, wiring, cabling and lighting)
- Air conditioner ( As required)
- Furniture (web stations and chairs)
- Plus a franchisee fee and security deposit.
- For a set up of 10 PC's, the approximate investment expected from the
franchisee on the above mentioned items is approximately Rs 5 - 6 lakhs
(excluding the cost of real estate)

However the nature of investments would vary depending on whether you are:

Converting (from an existing cyber café)
|
|
The primary additional investment required would be in terms of the web stations and doing up the interiors to match standards (and up gradation of PC's, A/C if required)

|
Co-Locating(within an existing retail/ public center)
|
|
Under normal circumstances, additional investment in interiors might not be required if the current location is good.
|
|
Creating (a new i way)
|
|
Since this would be a fresh start up venture all the investments in creating the infrastructure is required.
